			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Remember the concept of virtual reality?  One might say that it went out with <a href="http://www.modojo.com/media/features/128/virtboy.jpg" target="_blank">Virtual Boy</a> back in 1995. But the ones on the cutting edge can tell you that it&#8217;s back and on <i>the move</i>.</p>
<p>There is a European research project called <a href="http://www.cyberwalk-project.org/index.php?action=showcat&amp;id=56" target="_blank">Cyberwalk</a> that is working on a machine that allows one to walk in a virtual world while remaining in one spot. Observe:</p>

<p>We were going to call this post &#8220;Virtual Insanity,&#8221; but <a href="http://gajitz.com/virtual-insanity-vr-treadmill-goes-in-every-direction/" target="_blank">someone</a> has already beaten us to the punch. But luckily we were able to come up with something a trillion times better. But still, I could not resist including this obvious inspiration:</p>
