Remember the concept of virtual reality?  One might say that it went out with Virtual Boy back in 1995. But the ones on the cutting edge can tell you that it’s back and on the move.

There is a European research project called Cyberwalk that is working on a machine that allows one to walk in a virtual world while remaining in one spot. Observe:

We were going to call this post “Virtual Insanity,” but someone has already beaten us to the punch. But luckily we were able to come up with something a trillion times better. But still, I could not resist including this obvious inspiration:
